Home stretch, folks! Summer is so close we can smell the sunscreen. Make the most of your June with these 34 memorable events to discover all the summertime vibes.

1. June 4 to 7: Festival of Live Digital Art in Kingston

This year is the eighth edition of FOLDA and the program amplifies diverse Canadian voices, showcasing performances that reflect the changing social and political landscape. With Seeds of Resistance and Solidarity, the festival continues to unite audiences through inspiring, thought-provoking live performances.

2. June 5 to 22, 2025: Belleville Theatre Guild presents Cinderella

Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella is an inspiring, modern Cinderella for everyone featuring a strong Cinderella who helps the Prince fulfill his destiny in a just and fair way. See it live at the Pinnacle Playhouse!

3. June 5 to 8: Shriners of Brockville Street Fair
Get ready for fun in Brockville as the Shriners welcome the community to a street fair! Campbell’s Amusements, with more than 50 years of family fun, will be on site for maximum fun. Tickets, please!

4. June 7: Shorefest in Prince Edward County

Experience the remarkable beauty of nature in The County on June 7 at South Shorefest in Mariners Park. Walk the South Shore Footpath with volunteers, build a bird box, do activities, make a walking stick, listen to live music and loads more! Then that evening, participate in Milford’s laser-guided night sky tour.

5. June 7: Naturally L&A Gravel Ride

Get ready for a backroad cycling adventure! This fantastic 53 km route takes you through the rural countryside in Stone Mills Township, crisscrossing the Salmon River into the communities of Centreville, Croydon, Tamworth and Enterprise. Enjoy extra fun with live music, local treats and a cold drink at the end of the ride!

6. June 7: Seeley’s Bay Red Canoe Fest
A day of waterfront fun! Paddle through the silent poker run, reel in some memories with Fishing Fun with Big Jim (free event for the kids!) and cap off the day with a barbecue lunch at the Legion.

7. June 7: Art on the Waterfront in Chesterville

Be inspired at Art on the Waterfront! Featuring artwork, jewelry, crafts, and much more. Also look for demonstrations from local martial artists, dancers, a kids’ zone performers, and live music!

8. June 7: Textile Festival at Lansdowne Community Centre

Enjoy the vision and feel of handcrafted art! On June 7, 2025, see spinners, weavers, rug makers, quilters, needle crafters, and more showcase their skills. Feel the softness of the rovings and the colourful hand dyed wool. Finished products, wool, kits, and accessories are waiting to tempt you at the Lansdowne Community Hall.

9. June 7: Up Close with the Moon
Have you seen the moon up close? Learn about the moon at the Dark Sky Viewing Area in L&A County! Take an up close look at the surface by looking through the 16″ Dobsonian telescope and be awestruck.

10. June 11 to 14: Galop Canal Bluegrass Festival

Celebrating bluegrass music in Iroquois! See renowned bands from across North America, jam sessions, and participate in events and workshops. A treat for the ears!

11. June 13 and 14, 2025: Endless Summer World Long Drive Championship
The world’s biggest long drive championship, you say? You bethca and it’s at Trillium Wood Golf Centre in Bay of Quinte. Tickets are on sale - be there to cheer on the golfers, feel the music, and see the winner awarded in the finals!

12. June 14: Napanee Heritage 5K and Kids 1-miler
Family fun and run! The Napanee Heritage 5K and Kids 1-miler is a well-organized event that starts and ends at Lennox and Addington County Museum and Archives, located at 97 Thomas Street East in Napanee. Race profits are donated directly back into the Napanee community in support of physical or mental health initiatives.

13. June 14: Fairies in the Park
Let’s get enchanted! Calling all fairies, wizards and magical friends! Dress up if you like, meet Tinkerbell and friends, enjoy music and crafts, face painting, bouncy fun and more in St. Lawrence Park, Brockville.

14. June 14: Doors Open Loyalist Township
Spend the day discovering some local history first-hand and celebrate the community’s heritage on June 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Doors Open Ontario is a province-wide celebration that provides a unique opportunity to explore and enjoy interesting places and spaces in communities across Ontario – all free of charge!

15. June 14: Stoney Steps Art Fest in Newburgh
Celebrate art by spending the day shopping for beautiful handmade goods and fine art from some of the best artisans in the region, watch live educational demonstrations, enjoy delicious lunch fare and homemade pie all on the banks of the beautiful Napanee River in Newburgh! Stoney Steps Artfest is a beloved, juried outdoor show featuring a wide range of fine arts and crafts created by more than 55 skilled Canadian makers. 

16. June 14: Dark Sky Triple Feature

A ‘triple feature’ that we know you’ll love at the L&A Dark Sky Viewing Area! Weather permitting, visitors will receive a laser-guided stargazing tour from our knowledgeable volunteers. Look at various objects through the 16″ Dobsonian Telescope and learn about seasonal constellations and asterisms that will acquaint you with the sky.

17. June 14: YGK Craft Beer Festival
The unofficial kick-off to summer! The YGK Craft Beer Festival invites you to sip on the finest local craft beers and beverages, indulge your taste buds with drool-worthy food and snacks, enjoy all-day live music, games and shop the artisan market on June 14, 2025. Taking place at Fort Henry, the location is part of the experience, with amazing water views and city views all day, adding to the experience.

18. June 14 and 15: Gananoque Lion’s Cruise-In 

Motorheads unite on June 14 and 15! See cars, trucks, motorcycles and more alongside driver prizes, DJ music, vendors, and the Gananoque Lions Club will be hosting a barbecue. 

19. June 20: Summer Solstice at Revolve Farms
This celebration of summer will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and includes a farm-to-table dinner, a fire ceremony, flower crown making, guided meditation and the opportunity to gather and meet like-minded people. Register to attend! 

20. June 20 to 22: Brockville Tall Ships Festivals
This waterfront festival happens only every three years and Brockville is one of only three Canadian ports of call! Don’t miss your chance to see tall ships up close - explore on deck and watch them sail majestically by. So many great activities around the city, it’s sure to be a memorable weekend. Climb aboard the fun!

21. June 20: Downtown at Dusk, Belleville

Celebrate Summer Solstice with an awesome street party in Downtown Belleville! Get some friends together and experience the celebration on June 20 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Downtown at Dusk. Think patios, salsa dancing, an artisan market and street performers!

22. June 20 to 22: Maxville Fair

Highlighting the community’s rich heritage, the Maxville Fair includes agricultural showcases, live music, family activities and traditional competitions. Great way to spend the weekend as a family!

23. June 21: Princess Street Promenade
Take a stroll down Princess Street and revel in this popular festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.! The promenade closes Princess Street to vehicles from Barrie Street to Ontario Street making for the perfect opportunity to enjoy Downtown Kingston. Walk about and visit local shops, grab a bite to eat at downtown restaurants, and spend the day downtown!

24. June 22: Highway of Heroes kickoff at Military Communications and Electronics Museum
Get ready for an exciting kick-off of the Highway of Heroes rolling into the C&E and RCEME Museums! See a real Griffon helicopter, sit in a bison armoured vehicle, family friendly fun, outdoor displays and more.

25. June 23: Open Trails Quest at Wintergreen Studios

Where can you find granite outcrops, forests, wetlands, valleys, and a straw bale lodge to see? Along Wintergreen’s trails! Challenge yourself to explore every trail at Wintergreen during the last week of June - collect the clues to enter a draw for a free weekend at one of their woodland cabins.

26. June 27 to July 13: Art in the County
Be inspired at Art in the County, a signature event of the summer season in Prince Edward County. The show attracts thousands of visitors and showcases the highest quality works of art by Prince Edward County artists and artisans. The 32st annual Art in the County Juried Exhibition and Sale will be held from June 27 to July 13, 2025 at the upper level of the Armoury building in downtown Picton.
 

27. June 27 to 29: 1000 Islands Family Ribfest
Celebrate the beginning of summer in Gananoque! Come and enjoy a great day or stay for the weekend to taste the delicious ribs, listen to live music, and enjoy a fun family event!

28. June 27 to 29: 1000 Islands Regatta
The annual Brockville Hydroplane Festival is set to be a splash of fun! Great fun for all ages witnessing the thrill of Hydroplane Racing, live music and a kid zone with vendors. See Canadian icons perform as Honeymoon Suite, Road Apples, Shania Twin take the stage!

29. June 27: Dev Fest in Cornwall
Summer vibes are here at Dev Fest - the ultimate night of live music to get your Canada Day weekend started! Performers include 54.40, Barstool Prophets, Trevor Walsh and more. Rock the night away at the Dev Hotel & Conference Centre.

30. June 27 and 28: Hawkesbury Multicultural Festival
Live shows, games and cultural experiences for all ages! This vibrant celebration brings the community together for music, food, and traditions from around the world. Enjoy entertainment, family-friendly activities and festivities in the heart of downtown Hawkesbury.

31. June 28 and 29: Rideau Lakes Studio Tour
Step into a world of artistry to discover stunning works of art that inspire. Visit artists in their creative spaces, and talk to them about capturing the wonder of Rideau Lakes through their creations!

32. June 28 and 29: Line Spike Frontenac
Get whisked away with performances by Canadian artists in a field and forest setting! Look for Walk Off the Earth, the Julian Taylor Band, Amanda Marshall, Sam Roberts Band, the Arkells, Big Wreck and more to kick start celebrating Canada Day weekend.

33. June 28 to July 1: Artfest Kingston
Where do more than 200 artists meet each year? At Artfest Kingston in City Park! Artists and artisans from across Ontario and Quebec are in Kingston from June 28 to July 1, 2025. Walk the shady paths throughout the park. Enjoy outstanding pottery, glass, wood, jewellery, gourmet food, live music, art workshops, live outdoor theatre, poetry and more!

34. June 28 to July 1: Canadian Dock Jumping Competition
The dog days of summer are upon us! Make a Splash on Canada Day with Canine Watersports Canada as Prescott hosts a Canine Dock Jumping Competition. See those four-legged friends being the bestest boys and girls, and see who can make the most impressive jump.

Celebrate Pride Month in South Eastern Ontario

In June, Prince Edward County proudly celebrates Pride Month! Join them in supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community with a series of events and things to do. They’ve curated the ultimate Prince Edward County Pride Month bucket list, packed with fun and inclusive events for everyone to enjoy.
