**Cozy coffee shops with unique vibes: Linger a little longer in Cornwall, SDG Counties, and Prescott & Russell**

Tea lovers, step aside—it’s coffee’s time to shine. As the seasons change and that crisp, cool air rolls in, there’s something especially inviting about settling into a cozy coffee shop with a warm cup in hand. The coffee scene is alive and well in Cornwall, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry, and Prescott & Russell, with an abundance of unique cafes scattered about. Each with an entirely different vibe, there’s also a real sense of community woven into them. Your biggest decision will be where to go first. Better yet, try them all and be prepared to linger a little longer. Regardless of where you head in South Eastern Ontario, you’re sure to find a warm cuppa to suit any palate. Let the journey begin.

**If you like your coffee with a side of downtown charm, head to Cornwall…**

[**Craftmans Cafe**](https://www.facebook.com/p/Craftmans2025-61574241675708/)**: Where Coffee and Indian Street Food Meet**

If coffee and culture are your scene, you’ll feel right at home at Craftmans Cafe in this warm, community-centred space. Craftsman blends Punjabi Sikh heritage with cozy charm, and you’re sure to be impressed by their Indian street food menu, serving up Indian-fusion burgers, rolls, wraps, poutine and more. Enjoy a seasonal beverage and their popular samosas, settle in by the large, sunlit windows overlooking Second Street in downtown Cornwall, or curl up on one of the inviting royal blue velvet couches or the macramé swing. Savour an authentic bite, soak in the local culture, and grab a piece of local art on your way out.

[**Tilly’s Eatery**](https://tillys---home-of-once-upon-a-coffee-shop.square.site/?utm_id=97758_v0_s00_e0_tv0&fbclid=IwY2xjawUzzqVleHRuA2FlbQIxMABwZG9mBWJyaWQRMUVPenU2VGxLbHdqMTNsRGVzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeOuOat9Bs7OPDHZgw9t0AbsIF_fX1Ef9FKbsZ4TpA7lAZ__xCneTwg2ub4g4_aem_7WEAxSDHx3RZXyNIF3Wv5Q)**:** **Where Coffee Meets Comfort**

With antique armchairs, comfy couches, wooden kitchen tables, and decorative rugs, you’ll feel right at home at Tilly’s Eatery on Pitt Street in downtown Cornwall. Bright, cheery yellow walls, seasonal decor, and a ceiling strung with warm Edison bulbs create a welcoming space to linger over a coffee, a bowl of warm soup, and one of their ever-popular sandwiches or paninis. Before you depart, be sure to browse their unique gifts section in-store and score a little gem to keep or gift.

**If you like your coffee with a little something extra, explore SDG Counties…**

[**Ingleside** **Bakery**](https://inglesidebakery.ca/): **Small Village Bakery, Big Flavours**

If coffee is what you’re after, Ingleside Bakery in the village of Ingleside has you covered, but the real stars of the show are their baked goods. Step inside and you’ll find an array of tempting treats, from sausage rolls, donuts and scones (they sell 400 a week!) to their popular brookies, a brownie baked inside a cookie, making it difficult to choose just one. This little village favourite is a powerhouse, offering in-store baked goods, a lunch menu, catering, wedding and custom cakes, and their newly launched ice cream cakes. Stop in for a comfort meal or grab a baked treat to go and fill your tummy on a cool day. Either way, you’ll be glad you found your way here.

If a rich, local artisanal coffee is what you’re after, Café Butte & Bine Farm in South Glengarry is well worth the trip. Try it with a touch of local maple syrup, then settle in and stay awhile—there’s plenty to enjoy here for the whole family. Arrive to find a beautiful acreage with beautiful country views. Choose from a fresh selection of handmade pastries made with local and seasonal ingredients, many grown right on the farm. Settle inside by the bright windows, listen to the gentle rain on the metal roof, and enjoy an almond croissant served on decorative dinnerware while the kiddos choose from magazines, books, and colouring materials. This family-run, family-focused café offers sips for everyone, whether you prefer to be indoors or out. Before you leave, be sure to browse the farm store and refill your pantry with coffee, flour, honey, tea, and other local staples.
