Alpacas’ City: Visit with friendly alpacas, and shop for socks and other cozy items, at this farm in Limoges. By appointment only.
Gibbs Honey: At this farm in Vankleek Hill, you can book a one-hour beekeeping experience to see the dance of the bees, look for the queen bee, use a smoker and see how hives work. You can also sign up for a honey tasting with Andrea Glenn, the farm’s co-owner and Canada’s first fully certified honey sommelier.
Mariposa Farm: You can explore this 43-hectare (107-acre) farm, visit the free-range farm animals and admire fields of flowers. Check the farm website for hours.
Oasis RV Park: This campground in Limoges has a petting zoo for children.
Ouimet Farm Adventure: Family fun at this Vankleek Hill farm includes a 2.8-hectare (7-acre) corn maze, a pumpkin patch, a sunflower field, a farm museum, and an adventure park with pedal carts, gem mining and a giant jumping pillow.
Le Ranch du jardin: This ranch in Curran offers trail and pony rides year-round, by appointment.
Yellow Brick Farm: Book online to visit this Rockland farm, where you and your family can see chickens, turkeys, ducks, guinea fowl, goats, sheep, pigs, cows and rabbits. Eggs, flowers, produce and more are available at the farmstand.
