1. Throughout February: Flashback February in PEC

History comes to life in Prince Edward County in February! Discover rich heritage in the County during this month-long celebration through hands-on experiences, live demos, and captivating stories. Explore how The County’s past, present, and future are woven together through engaging workshops, talks, performances, open houses, trivia, and more - hosted at locations across the County. Join in to be part of the story!

2. February 1 to 16: Enchanted: Spirit of Winter in Kingston

Winter magic is lighting up downtown Kingston! This month, Springer Market Square is having a glow up. Wander through an illuminated forest, skate under sparkling lights, warm up by the fire with s’mores, and cozy up inside a snow dome with friends.

3. February 1 to 28: WinterFEAST in Gananoque

Gananoque’s downtown dining scene takes centre stage this month with the launch of WinterFEAST, a month-long culinary celebration. Encouraging residents and visitors to support local eateries during February, participating restaurants have created special menu offerings!

4. Until February 7: Biennial Indigenous Show at Gallery 121
Unique art by a medley of artists from Tyendinaga, Deseronto and surrounding areas! Experience captivating art at Gallery 121 running until Feb. 7. 

5. February 6 to 8: Marionville Winter Carnival
Enjoy a full weekend of family-friendly activities, meals, live music, children’s programming, skating, a silent auction, and more at the Marionville Community Centre in Prescott Russell!

6. February 6 to 8: Seeley’s Bay Frost Fest
This cherished community winter celebration will have everyone walking like penguins! Set for Feb. 6 to 8, it’s packed with frosty fun. Look for skating at the docks, wagon rides, fireworks, vendor and craft market, legendary silent auction and bake sale, community dinner, comedy night and lots of games and activities for the kiddos. 

7. Until February 7: ReelOut Queer Film Festival in Kingston

The 27th annual ReelOut Queer Film Festival runs for 10 days in downtown Kingston. “Exploring Space” is the theme for this year, diving deep into holding, saving, and creating spaces for communities that need them. With more than 65 exciting films from Canada and 15 other countries, Reelout is always a mid-winter treat.

8. February 7: Winter Camping Workshop with Kevin Callan
Learn from a legend! Kevin, also known as the Happy Camper, is a Canadian camping icon and the author of excellent camping books and resources. Get better equipped for a winter camping trip and gain valuable knowledge through Frontenac Outfitters.

9. February 7: Sam Weber & Lily Talmers with Special Guest Brian MacMillan at Karlos Estates

The stunning speakeasy at Karlo Estates is set to be the backdrop for an intimate evening of music that is not to be missed! Sam Weber is joined by Lily Talmers and opener, Brian MacMillan, in this exciting night that guests will rave about long after, complemented by all the indulgences of food and drink at Karlos Estates. Cozy bliss!

10. February 7: Summerstown Forest Dion Snowshoe Race

Celebrating a dozen years of the annual Summerstown Forest Dion Snowshoe Race! These fast, high-energy winter races see both an 8.5 km and 4.4 km course and promise an exciting weekend, sanctioned by Snowshoe Canada. 

11. February 7 and 8: Cabin Fever - Kingston Antiques Show
Running for more than 40 years and a winter highlight for antiques and vintage collectors throughout Ontario and Quebec, the Kingston Antiques Show, “Cabin Fever”, is one of Canada’s premier shows. Set for Portsmouth Olympic Harbour Centre, it features some of the best dealers offering a diverse selection of furniture, country, fine formal and mid century modern, folk art, fine china, glass, silver, jewellery, textiles, nostalgia, books, tools, retro and more. 

12. February 11 to 15: Rockport Winter Carnival

Embrace winter fun in Rockport! This carnival is home to everything from kids chicken bowling to pancake breakfast, to cards, games, toboggan races, log sawing and nail driving, skating, fireworks and more. Get your Rockport fix in 2026!

13. February 13 to 21: Seaway Valley Theatre - Cinderella, Enchanted Edition
A fun winter night out! This heart-warming, musical retelling of the classic fairy tale, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella – Enchanted Edition brings magical songs, charm and fun for all ages to the stage! To make it even more special, Seaway Valley Theatre Company is celebrating 20 years this year!

14. February 13 and 14: Wheel You Be My Valentine in PEC?

Want a unique Valentine’s idea? This is it: a County Pottery Experience for couples! A hands-on pottery experience, a candle-lit studio setting, a glass of prosecco. Need we say more?!

15. February 14: Newburgh Canal Bash

Come on down to experience Newburgh’s winter tradition! Enjoy a full day of winter fun featuring skating, hockey, horse-drawn wagon rides, a massive bonfire, great food and a fireworks display!

16. February 14: Love is a Sentimental Journey at Stella’s Eatery, PEC

Not your classic Valentine’s Day dinner at Stella’s! Annelise Noronha will set the mood with love songs that will also break your heart before the dancing kicks off at 9 p.m. with beats by Dj Kirby's Dreamlands.

17. Until February 28: Cline House Gallery Juried Show
This annual exhibition highlights the incredible talent and diverse perspectives of our regional art community. Visit the gallery before the end of February to have your say in the selection of the coveted “People’s Choice Award”.

18. February 14: Dunvegan Winter Carnival
This charming, long-standing community winter celebration brings people together for a day-long festival of outdoor winter fun and neighbourly spirit! Look for a hearty breakfast, sleigh rides, hot chocolate, sledding, skating, a bonfire and more.

19. February 14: Parsons x Chef Char Family Day Weekend

Family Day weekend calls for a stop at Parsons Brewing Co.! Enjoy delicious beers, the outdoor ice rink, and a special collaboration with Chef Char and the GetShuckd team. Fires will be lit for wood-fired oysters with creamy lobster sauce, hearty clam chowder, and an unforgettable raclette station. Lace up, warm up, and join us for a few cozy hours of skating and fireside bites.

20. February 15: Glengarry Sports Hall of Fame Polar Bear Dip
The 12th annual North Glengarry Polar Bear Dip is taking the plunge at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15. Benefitting the Glengarry Sports Hall of Fame!

21. February 14: Galentine’s Pretty Things Club in Picton

Grab the girls and play with clay at County Creative! This creative galentine’s event is for ages 16+ with pre-rolled clay, a guided experience creating custom charms, ornaments, magnets and trinkets. The cutest way to celebrate Valentine’s Day!

22. Feb. 14: Ice Fishing Fun Tournament at Hoople’s Bay, Ingleside
The fourth annual ice fishing fun tourney sees a chance to win more than $5,000 in cash prizes for categories like longest northern pike, walleye, perch, and more, along with a 50/50 draw, free chili, coffee, and an early bird draw. Set for Feb. 14 from 8 a.m. to noon, come out to catch a good time!

25. February 21: Fred Eaglesmith at the Regent Theatre in Picton

For over 50 years, the Canadian singer-songwriter has followed his own road, delivering grit-soaked stories in a gravelly voice that’s earned him cult status among Americana, folk, and country fans. See him live at the Regent Theatre on Feb. 21.

26. February 21: Savour the Chill in Downtown Belleville
Soup’s on! The soup tasting content sees downtown restaurants go spoon to spoon in competition for awards voted by soup samplers and judges. Warm up by a fire table at Century Village, stroll through the downtown, enjoy shopping and sipping soup! Running from noon to 3 p.m., bring your spoon and bundle up. 

27. February 22: A Sunday Spread with Paper Kite Farm in The County

28. February 28: Summerstown Forest Fat Bike Race
Winter adrenaline at its finest — a high-energy blast through snow-packed forest trails that turns February into something to look forward to! The Summerstown Forest Fat Bike Race sees a 5 km event, as well as 20km and 40km races.

29. February 28 and continuing weekends in March: PEC Maple Madness
Get into the sugarbush and get a whole new appreciation for nature’s gold! It’s the sweetest time of the year in Prince Edward County and there are activities, tastings and experiences waiting to welcome you. Pet alpacas, snowshoe through a winery, watch sap boil and indulge in the finished product! 

30. Kingstonlicious is back!

If winter has you craving comfort, creativity, and a really good meal, Kingstonlicious is back to deliver.
